Rapid Tooling For Cash Dispenser

Suite of pilot tools produced in rapid time frame; 17 days for the most time critical tool from GA approval. Parts were shipped and used on P1 assemblies in staggered, demanding production schedule.

The initial demand was for machined prototypes however due to material limitations for this process, injection moulds had to be developed from which parts could be made to meet customer requirements.

UL94-V5 rated polymer as the material specification was the main factor which drove the decision towards producing mould tooling.

This was required to meet the stringent regulatory requirements of the United States, the end-product’s final destination.
